Every update that reaches the system, and what it changes in your day.
Update of 31 August 2026
The largest update so far: a full Report Center, court orders, the ability to switch off the parts of the system you do not use, and finer control over who sees which figures. The mobile app also moved a long way closer to the web.
The Report Center
Web onlyFive report packs (Money, Leasing, Operations, Owner, and an Executive summary), every section reading one period you choose. Pick the columns, save the view to reopen it in a click, and export to Excel or CSV. That includes a tenant Statement of Account: everything charged and everything paid over one period. A figure you are not allowed to see stays withheld in a report exactly as it is on screen.
Read the detailsCourt orders
File overdue rent with the court from the Receivables page, then follow the case in a docket of its own. Claimed installments drop out of chasing and reminders while the case is open, and their accounting does not stop. One order can claim several installments, and can record what it recovers over as many payments as it takes. Filing and resolving are on the web; viewing and approving are in the mobile app too.
Read the detailsSwitch off what you do not use
In Settings, then Setup, then System components, a workspace administrator can hide what they do not need: lease offers, maintenance, recurring work, documents, reports, court orders and more. Their pages disappear from the sidebar and from the mobile app together. Nothing is deleted: work already under way finishes in your Tasks inbox, and switching a component back on restores it as it was. Before you confirm, you see exactly what stops and how much unfinished work is inside it.
Read the detailsWho sees which figures
You can now decide who sees lease values, collections, payments, expenses and deposits, one property at a time. A withheld figure reads as withheld and never as zero, because a zero is a wrong number rather than a hidden one. And whoever is waiting to approve something sees the amount on their own desk, so nobody is asked to approve a figure they cannot read.
Read the detailsTasks: my work, and the team’s
The Tasks inbox is now split into My work, which is what is waiting on you, and All work, which is what is waiting on the whole team and takes a permission. Every row says whose it is, and the inbox covers only the properties you are allowed to see. Work that escalated to management has a tab of its own instead of a preference you had to switch on.
Read the detailsReference numbers you can say out loud
Every contract, property, unit, payment and claim now carries a short reference: CON-7, PRP-3, PMT-12. They count inside your own workspace, and they show up in lists, on detail pages and in search. Links you bookmarked or sent earlier keep working exactly as before.
Read the detailsA setup guide for a new workspace
A new workspace now opens on a short list of steps that ends at a first contract: add a property, then record a contract or import an Ejar PDF, then record a first payment. Each step is worked out from what you have actually done rather than from a Done button, and you can dismiss the guide whenever you like. On the web and in the mobile app.
Read the detailsThe mobile app moved closer
On the phone you can now start a renewal and delete a contract, correct a recorded payment instead of deleting and re-entering it, write off a receivable, create a shared to-do list and choose who sees it, and read and approve a court case. Rent reminder timing is picked from ready-made options instead of a format you had to learn. And a maintenance request can carry a video, compressed before upload so it goes through on mobile data.
Read the detailsSmaller things
- Detail-page sections fold, and the fold follows you to the next record of the same kind.
- The receivables list now says which scheduled payment it is, not just an amount overdue.
- The contract statement now takes a start and end date of your choosing.
- A WhatsApp button for reaching support, inside the app and in the footer of every page on the site.
